How can I convert a Moddel which was createt with Gmax into *.mdx??

You have to get it into 3ds Max and then save it as an .mdx

There are no converters/exporters for Gmax.

Get a 3ds Max b*tch.

I didn't know. I've had reliable (moderator) sources telling me that you need 3ds Max to export models.
That isn't lying. There is a difference. If you don't believe me because I'm a 'liar' then I will find you the thread.

Plus, dex has many faults.

sorry 35. but i have had alot of popel give out false info lately. Sue Dex has its faults, but considerign its completely reverse engineered, it has soem merit :) it can be foudn in the dl section as far as i know

actualy nic it doesn't i have gmax and 3dsmax, and it will only work with max. when i try to export with gmax all it does is export the animation info, no geosets or anything, now i do get the same problem with 3dsmax but only if i forget to select the model i want to export. But with gmax i tried to see if that was the problem so i selected the model i amde and used dex, nothing comes out.

that is because You didnt readthe readme methinks. If you use gmax, you have to have the newest version of DEx. You then click the print to listener button, open up the maxscript listener, and CnP the text into a blank .mdl file.
