All right. I´ve got help from many people, and now I know how to skin on mac! :ggani: But... emote_sweat Ineed help with my 1st skin. Can someone tell me an easy skin to edit, and some sugestions? emote_confused If I finish it, I´ll give who helped me credit. :ggani: |

how to edit skins? PhotoShop 7.0 ??? on Mac I have no idea. My recommendations...get Windows XP 2003 |

i dont think mac can run windows XP. you need photoshop (or paintshop pro though PS is better) if they can run aon mac. sorry to say but mac sux get a PC |

Yeah, trully, that´s it... But it´s the destiny! Now I have the mac for 3 years, and now, I wouldn´t change it to PC for any reason! Hehee. It´s a bit difficult, but, if you look for it, you´ll find what you want... ? FOR MAC! ? Oh, damn! The "?" shuld be little apples. I´ll edit my signature. |

Photoshop works on macs. but how do you extract an image? Please tell me and why are most PC owners so anti-mac? i'm a mac person and i don't hate PCs |

my adive, even tho i'm a n00b skinner, get a PC or get photoshop (if you could do both that would kick @$$) then get wc3 viewer, and extract the knight or demon hunter (don't bother the tatoos on the demon hunter) just the blade... anyways, then open it in photoshop and push all of the buttons, and if you don't like the outcome just hit ctrl+z right after you do it (only reason i say push all of the buttons is you need to know what everyone does :} ) well that's all of my advice oh, and save it as TGA and convert it back to blp and then put it back in to the same directory where it came from :) |

I use pcs, always have and always will. But people say macs suck all the time, me included, but the fact of the matter is they are better for image manipulation software than pcs are. I dont see any reason that macs would be unable to edit skins, as long as there is software made for doing it (since the skinning comunity is pc domiate all the saftware that people make is for pcs). |

The OutCast: I don´t hate PCs too. To extract images you´ll need MPQ2K on mac. You can find it at www.mewgood.com/mac.shtml (I think this is the link). PM me on how to use it if you don´t find out. Everybody else: The fact is, anyone who uses computer for graphic editing use macs (example: Almost every film maker). |
