Seafarer Captain (Admiral Proudmoore) WIP

This is a hero I'm making for a project of mine and I though I'd show it to get some criticism.

The main parts changed are the chest, minor alterations to head and the addition of the scarf basic recolor as base for the clothes upon which changed were made and the boots. The boots currently look rather stupid so I'm looking for suggestions on how to fix them. I also think I need to fix the shirt collar to make it straighter and I'll fix that up for the next version.

The basic style I'm going for is similar to Jack Sparrow who has the guy played by Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Carribean.

I also need suggestions for what to replace the hippogryph on the cape with.

Can someone help in finding where the part that isn't covered by the scarf in the portrait is? I can't seem to find it and i've covered everything that looks like hair with color splodges in an attempt to find it but to no avail.

That is a problem becuz the portrait wasn´t originally ment to be for Produmoore model... thus it could be perfect with some model edit...;) and for the skin it looks nice 8/10 :D

Thanks for the comments.

This is a newer version of the Captain skin with a few parts fixed mainly in the chest.

I'm thinking, If I can't find that spot in the hair I'll use a different skin for the portrait model, eliminating that problem. I wish there was a portrait with the hat in it though.

Any ideas for the boots?

Below is a very early version the corsair which would be basic foot troop for the seafarers. The parts which are not shaded are bits I intend to alpha out when I have the time to learn model editting so I can make those parts use the alpha channel for transperances (Those bits are in mesh 1 which is seperate to the team coloured bits) The shirt is team coloured so it's my test work with that. I don't suppose any one could help with changing the model through .mdl so that part of the texture supports alphaing (mesh 1 according to model viewer)? If it's possible.

Later I'll add holes in the shirt and the like and I'll fix the hat when the model edit is done so it's shaded and is more like a pirate's bandana.

for the portrait just go into wc3 viewer and edit the portrait to get the coloring you want
