Helm's deep new idea

I've just been working on terrain for a completely new Helm's Deep map for a day or two.

Here are some screenshots I took from the editor.

Tell me what you think of it so far the terrain layout so far :)

Is it just my screen or are thoose really really dark?
Anyway not bad, though illd advise agaisnt making Helms Deep (though at least your making one from scratch, as opposed to a cheap edit). Try to do something new with the Helsm Deep type genre, maybe you could do what I was planning for the same sorta map, have every unit as a hero. This means the effects of good micro/army controll make your acrtuall armies units better. What I had going was an AoS type thing, where when a unit reahes level 10 its replaced by a veteran version of itself.

It would take a really long time to level up if everyone of your units is a hero. Maybe I could do something like the Ring Wars map where after a certain amount of kills the damage/armor/hitpoints/attackspeed of all your units increase.

And for the morphing into another stage of hero thing.. I could just make hero max level like 30 or something, it would take a while to make triggers and stuff for that.

I was also thinking of having a camera trigger for views from the side, front, and back.

Oh yes and also I have a screenshot of a rough idea for a Minas Tirith map layout... it obviously needs a lot of work and improvement.

owell. I hate all that microing with such intense lag. I think the computers should do the fighting and you could have events that would set off triggers that would change the way the battlefield looks *alot like an AOS* Then your heros could have control of like 3 or 2 units and those units could get better with kills *which you would store in their custom integer*

You can enhance the rate at which heroes gain experience if you still want to go with my idea ardikus.
