art tools animation error question

I'm new here... working on a model. I am using the art tools and max 5. I set it up like suggested in tutorial, however when I try to animate (move bones and create key frames) and test in in the wc3 preview I get this error... "the following object use float key controllers and so will not animate". Has anyone had this problem? please let me know if you can help. Thanks in advance.

u must give : bezier position controler, tcb rotation controler and bezier scale controler

You can also have Linear Rotation, and probably Linear Position aswell though I haven't tried it.

yes, position/rotation/scale controler must be linear, bezier or tcb.

look the page 10 of War3 art tool documentation.

Thanks a lot. That was it. I found a thread on this forum where someone (wish I rememberd who) wrote a max script to do that globally.

If by "globaly" you mean change all controllers to those ones, you can set the defaults to whichever controller you want...
Then every model you make will start with those controllers.

I cant remember where to do it, but its most likely in Preferences or Options etc...
