Sadly I'm the one who announces it to you, but here it goes a direct quote from Brett Wood ![]() Quote:
So it seems we have to wait again for the looong awaited patch. Also, in case you missed, the Art Tools Bug Fix has appeared in Battle.net. It fixes a crash bug in the User Property Editor plug-in included in the 1.00 version of the Art Tools. Download 1.01 or download the War3UserProp.dlu file and copy it into your "3dsmax4\plugins\" directory. |

They sound kind of desperate not to lose support. :gsmile: Notice how Blizzard never seems to post anything really bad on the front pages of their site? |

Well if we are lucky they might have patch ready by January. |
| 12-07-2003, 12:50 PM | #6 |
it seems like something ALWAYS comes up, are they just making excuses? |

Well, I belive that it is good that they spend time on fixing bugs and such, I would rather have a good thought-trought upgrade of the game in all its aspects, rather then some crap that just gives us what the mob demands. But they have spent an ridicilous amount of time on this, it was supposed to come out in august, for gods sake. But it IS just a game, some people over at the battle.net forums seems to have gotten serious mental issues because of this patch. |

actually what i think is interesting is how long it took you guys to notice that post. I saw that about a week ago, lol. I hope they hurry it up with that patch, I'm tired of getting killed by the friggin beastmaster... |

If they dont release it by 2 week, you wont see it until the second week of january because blizz employe doesnt work during the christmas holiday:( Some people also told me all patches were released on monday. Dont know if its true but this lower the chance to have it before christmas. I cant wait for the patch to remove the damn Faiery dragon cheese. |

I agree about it taking awhile..I just hope they do a better job with this patch then they did with the diablo II patch. I installed Diablo II just to try the patch, and i swear, i uninstalled it like a couple hours later. I just hope its alot better. |

Hmph. Well so long as they make it a damn good patch, then I'm willing to wait. They've been taking forever! I wonder if the new patch will include the next 2 maps in the Orc campaign... |

Well, I've gotten used to ignoring Blizzard's release dates. Just look at how bad they missed their initial release date for Warcraft III or even Starcraft. At the same time, look what they ended up producing. They probably just came up with more ideas for this patch or even better ways of doing something and had to start several of the aspects of this patch over again. It will probably be more than worth the wait. |

exactly why is this patch so heavaly wanted? |

1) It rebalances WC3 Melee, so certain neutral heros are not overpowered, and some other stuff. (I personally don't care about this, don't play normal WC3, just custom...) 2) They are suppost to release the Orc Campaigns Part II, and III with the patch. (Kewl) 3) They are suppost to fix issues with the World Editor. Specifcally, allowing you to change ever spell's animation. (Omg I can't wait for that!) |
