Starfall. again....

i seen people saying " you cant edit the model file of starfall".

now i want you all to think back in time, a lot back in time, back to RoC!!!
in RoC there was this map called Defense of the achients ( in tft there is dota to BUT THEY SUCK!!! ). in the map there where a hero called ice mistrys she had a spell there worked like starfall but it was ice faling down from the sky, not stars...

How do you do that ? maybe a model editor ? skin the stars ?
