open a not-edited slk file (absolutely not edited!) with notepad and copy the first two lines. now edit the slk file with the program you use regulary and save it as slk. once again, open the file with note pad. did the first two lines changed? (that doesn't mean that i.e. "B;X68..." became "B;64..." and so on, that mean "B;X68..." does not exist any more). if so, replace the new lines with the older ones. generally, it should work, but if i'm right "unitdata.slk" must have the exact x-value in the header (the first two lines). if you have i.e. only 20 lines in this slk, then the x-value must be "B;X20", also it is better to use correct x-values in every edited slk file. btw: an error in slk-files is mostly indicated by gamecrash when the loading bar of a map is 1/4 done. |

it doesn't matter where you get the slk file from, it's still a slk file. i do not use any of the two mentioned programs. |
