Well, a custom model, and from scratch is a good start.. most noobs start by loading a skin and recolouring it. It's 'ok', but obviously you need to work on it.. practice is the onlything you can do, and slowly build up knowledge and skill in the various tools. What stands out most to me is that the eyes seem too far apart. |

Now you just need to learn the art of dodging.. or lightness up or whatever. |

it needs a lot more shading |

true it needs more shading and dodging, but its amazing that you could make a model. Making skins from scratch isn't a easy task and you performed exceptionally well for your first skin. For the model i give a 7.8/10, for the skin i give a 6.9/10. Keep working on it |

not all newbs recolor skins, just to make them fit into the theme that there making. I dont know how to model, well I do but I dont know how to unwrap and make model a working mdx/mdl file. But if I did, I'd create kick *** zombies :P, robots, and some other things. |

cut/copy and paste. Anyways, The skin is a good start, but the model is very uninteresting. Its hard to really focus on a good texture if the model isnt a work of art. In order to really see what you can do, try skinning an existing unit. Not only will it be easier to skin, people will see the true talent you have |
