Hi i am having a problem converting back to BLP using the Warcraft 3 viewer. When i extract to BMP, it works. Then i use Microsoft Picture It to edit the skin, then i save and try to convert back but when i try i get an error that says this picture is not a 32-bit. My first skin i used all the same programs and didnt have that problem. Is it because im using Picture It? or am i just saving a wrong way. Thx |

its proberly because the file you extracted is not a TGA Formatted Document. you must not convert anything else except TGA to BLP 1 of the reasons is because of the alpha channel. the recommended programs to edit skins are Paintshop Pro or Photoshop 7.01 |

when you save as a TGA does it ask you whether you want it 32 or 24 or 16 bit? because i work with photoshop and it does that for me i have never edited a skin with psp so i really wouldn't know but today when i get home from school today, maybe i'll give it a try :) |
