I think I may have posted once or twice before, but I'm essentially a lurker with an account to gaze upon the art. Well, I decided to stop lurking. I had been toying with the idea of making skins, but I had never done anything of the sort before, so I did two CnP jobs. I've lurked long enough to know there's a few knee-jerk reactionaries already prepping bile at me just typing those words, so I'm going to follow Presdient Bush's example and dole out a pre-emptive **** you. If nobody was going to flame me, then I guess I really am following the President's example :P

My first skin is one of the Succubi - the blue one. As a D&D player I can't fully wrap my head around the idea of candy-colored succubi, so I made a more "classical" one using the face and sholder pads of the Sorceress. However they made for a poor mold - here's why my C&P isn't typical - so I spent an hour smearing, streaking and stretching the face just right, instead of going "LOLOLLLL HUR faCE l00kz funni!!!!!!!11111" and calling it a day. And apart from some elements of her new breastplate (not too satisfied with it, though) and her sholderpads, nothing else (like the new garter straps) is CnP, though I left the gloves and boots alone (I made replacements but I liked the black originals better). Very first effort whatsoever.

After trying to skin a Ranger using the High Elf Archer's better-looking skin (still working on it, the face still looks fugly to me and I want to really go through the existing armor) I began a Dryad Assassin (RoC Warden). She was initially going to be a "classical D&D dryad" - I. E. one with human legs - and I was going to leave it at that, but I liked the Assassin outfit and the model was fun to skin. So I left the outfit alone, though I went though all the skin pockets to recolor the skin tone to match Dryad skin, "Dryad-ized" the arms, threw on the lovely Succubi boots (though not without minor tweaks) and spent three hours meticulously working on her face (I think it looks pretty nice).

After reading all that you may be skeptical. I want to make it clear that I didn't just "slap" anything on. I stress that - if I am judged to have any talent - I'll try making a "from scratch" skin. I'm just messing around right now. I like these skins, though... comments?

And... uh... I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to alpha out the TFT Warden's face mask. I know how to alpha out stuff - just look at my work - but the Warden mask seems un-alpha-able.

not bad, not bad at all, but put the cape back on the assassin, she looks retarded without it.

Maybe if I smeared her breast's upper shading line down a bit that could be put "under control".

Do you think the cape-less assassin would look better with the shoulder pads removed? Though that area is remap... so I couldn't do that without MDL editing, of which I am thouroughly clueless.

Is it just me or do the assassin's arms need more shading? And are the leather straps "too short" on the inner thighs, thusly magically floating in place?

Interesting, and they look good, but they are largely CNP, albeit selective and fitting (Succubus = Sorceror, Assassin = Dryad).

yeah he explains all about the CnP in his first post, i suggest you put the cape back on the assassin because then the shoulderpads will fit, she wont look so skinny and the hood will fit in.

Slight touchup to her lips, and a new leaf cloak.

right about the sucubi's ears. Could you make her face normal and human. Then half of her body this gnarled demon and the otherhalf normal human body?
