I know my plans usually go over like lead balloon. But ill try something smaller. So heres the story. The year is 2200, Technolgy has advanced greately and aearth has become an interstellar empire. Earth is undergoing a major terraforming operation replace its depleteing reasoure base. on earth's moon a scientist, named Malkeezadek, has set up an obseveatory with a ionsepertercsocpe, a device that alows him to view the ion trail that is created whe a ships engines are online. Malkeezadek detects a massive ion trail larger than any hip encountered ever beforehe tracks the ion trail and notices that its has smaller ion trails coming off of it harded at various planets.
