is this possible? can I have a copter that actully alternates between its rocket pods instead of fireing from one, or the nose? Or would the only way to do this be through triggers? |

yes there is actually. I dont know how to make the actual switching (upgrades?) but if you do create unit at location of GYRO with offset of 0,0 (enter your numbers here...) and the unit has the attack animation you want it should work but only with like 1 gyro or so..... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) Modify Barrage Upgrade to shoot minigun art 2) Have Barrage Upgraded/Downgraded (Possible?) so when upgraded it has an attack, when downgraded it has no attack (Or maybe a 1 dmg attack so it can target) 3) when barrage is downgraded create unit/units at offset of 0,0 at GYRO and have units do following: a)Every 1 second move unit guard tower, invisible, no collision) to GYRO with offset of 0,0 and attack target of GYRO (nother trigger') b)when gyro switches attacks (upgrades barrage) delete the units, or move them to a corner (latter is better)... and all gyro upgradez affect the towers also ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Helped? :ggani: |

Unless you use Thunder-Hunter's way, which is seriously buggy and very laggy, you need to model edit the attachment points on the model. |

I didn't even know WC3 had attachment points... I mean, of course it has, but I never thougth of it. But wouldn't that mean you'd need two models, or more? Then switch unit two something that looks the same with a different attack, and a different attachment point/s for the weapon/s. Regards Dead-Inside |
