Well, the mastercraft guy had a somewhat ingenius way of doing it. Instead of making them flying units, give them the suicidal classification, then make it so all the units that can't normally attack flying units can't attack suicidal ones. I know it's bothersome but it's the only way to do it right now :P |

I have a similar problem making a flying hero. However, it's not targeting problem. There is no need to make it suicidal to prevent others targeting it. Just turn the "Targeted as" item to "Air" and units that are unable to target air cannot target it. The problem I have is that I can make it act like a "flying" unit by 1)changing the "targeted as" to "air" and 2)"collision size" = 0. I also changed 3)"movement height" = 240 and 4)"selection height" = 230. These should make it looks like flying. Nevertheless, in the game, it just walks on the ground but acts like a flying unit........ Anyone know how to make it really looks like flying? |

Just make a little search and find out that there were already several posts of similar topic! It's confirmed that it the Blink's problem and the solution is to use a normal world editor! |

Guest | Im Desperate for a Flying Hero, but i mean to change the editor! I LOVE BLINKS EDITOR! It's what keeps me creating in style. But somethin i Figured out is if you make your Hero based on the Lich, it will fly 30 ft. off the ground because the liches original movement height is 30. So I think its the Standard unit height that prevents Flying Heros from being created.:D |

Just read that if you use a trigger to change to movement height of the hero who was not shown because of the flying hero bug, it will appear again! I haven't tried it. Please tell me if you find this really solves the problem or not. :) |

Read my solution for the disappearing bug. Once in game have a trigger change the unit's flying height +1 or -1 and it'll appear. Oh yeah, and you can only change the flying height of units of type "flying" or "hover." Make it a hover unit and turn it's collission off to make it essentailly a flying unit : ) |

Guest | I think I have a fix for the flying units, though no one has confirmed this for me. I first referenced it back at the beginning of this month in post Flying base-ground unit bug It has to do with the Blink (WE) editor and involves making a change to the UnitMetaData.slk file. Have a look at the post and see if the change helps you... |
