Just post any tips or anything you have about skinning, like for example something about the Dodge tool in photoshop or Any secrets lurking in the program. |

Heres a tip that KDE and most pro skinners use: Always create a new layer for your skin, select the place you want to skin, then use the fill tool. Now set the opacity to 50% and use the burn tool to create the outilnes of where everything should go, basically, copy the basic shading from the original skin, then go with the flow. |

I was trying to make a thread for good tips to enhance the skins of others. I wouldn't mind the thread being stickied, it might be useful. |

I always select the area that i want edit with the lasso tool and i make it completly blank like 1 solid colour *gray* I keep the lasso tool on and use DnB and add patterns with the paintbrush and other useful little gay names thing... after this I lighty use the sharpen tool which removes the gay MEGA SMOOTH look... but dont over sharpen ;) for it screws up... I try to make the patterns really stand out by burning the lines but not on a high brush... I then lightly dodge the empty spaces that are left... Well those are my tips of skinning that I always use... |
