im working on a lort basic melee map but with some original stuff. this is my idea for the forces: player12 = mordor, and isnt an allie with anyone player11 = all good (not user controlled) units throughout the map, like guards at rivendell and stuff that would protect against an attack from mordor. player10-1 = all human players. they can allie if they want, but they dont have to allie. if you dont feel like telling me exactly what to do could you just tell me as clearly as possible what each choice means when u pick who will control a race/slot? pretend your talking to a duck or something of equal IQ. thanks! sorry for your time. |

Lol, alright. I assume you know where the forces tab is, if not, It's under the player thing in the menu bar (I think... sorry my comp's been out and I haven't seen the WE in a while). Anyway, once you in there, you should see 1 force. If you've modified nothing and started out with a blank map, there should only be one player there. If you have more then one skip down to the stars. To add more players, click the Player Properties tab or whatveer it's called (It's the first tab there), on the top of the forces window. To add more players, simple do the following: Do you see where on the first player line, it says User? Well below that, change that to User as well. Do that all the way until #10. Then change the next two to computers. Then head back to the forces tab, by clicking forces on the top of the player properties window. You should have more players. ************************************************************************* Click the add force button at the bottom of the window. You can rename the second force as like Enemies of Middle-Earth or something like that. Drag the brown player into there. Rename Force 1 to Allies of Middle-Earth or something like that. Here's how the checkboxes on the rightside of the window should look. Allies : Allied Allied Victory Shared Unit Control Adv. Shared Unit Control x x Enemies : Allied Allied Victory Shared Unit Control Adv. Shared Unit Control The second one isn't actually nessesary but I just put it in there. Hope this helps you and good luck on the map, once again. :D |

ok now i feel plain stupid after how literal that was: 1. when set to computer, the forces can still be controlled by a user 2. i want to make it so that every player is allied with 'forces of middle earth' (com controlled good guys) but all the players are still enemies of each other |
