Scaling Error for destructible

I have a gate and i want to scale its x and y axis only not its height (z). it only lets me scale it so the ratio stays the same. how can i make it so i can only scale 1 axis instead of all 3??

yes u can.. just open up the object editor... go to doodas and edit the max scaling value to a bigger value...

i know i can do that but i cant edit the x or y value only

like i said befor... go to the doodad editor.. change the max scale level to somthing.... now when u change the x and y axis by double clickin the doodad and changing it there.. it will scale right..

Thing is, ViruZ, is that he's trying to do this with a Gate, which is a Destructible not a Doodad. Destructibles don't have scaling properties when you select them and hit enter. They only have life% and Items dropped upon death. :(

no it wont try it, the height shrinks the same as the width and lenght
i want it so only the width and lenght shrink. but i think thats impossible. so unless im wrong its fine

Dragon is correct - Destructibles can't be scaled asymetrically. You'd need to model edit to make a gate that has the right proportions, I think.

(EDIT) Or make your gate something besides a destructible, if you don't need it to open/close... but I figure you probably do...

I'm not so sure about the second part. I think "barricades" can be scaled asa-aysa-aysam whatever.
