If you mean in a skin then try this: Photoshop: Make the area you want fur the color you want it to be. Then select the area with the magic wand. Use the noise filter to add how ever much noise you want (trial and error) making sure that monochromatic is checked (it makes the noise the same color base). Then run a guassian blur on the area and tweak the settings until it looks good. If it still doesn't look good try a bit of a motion blur (3-7 pixels) in a virtical direction. Now deselect. If the area looks a little funny around the edges then use the blur tool and the smudge tool on low opacities to patch it. You get what I mean? |

Wow. Thanks, Thunder Pickle, my skin needed fur and now he looks great. Good Tut. You should do more! P.S: I like the name! My sister once knew someone called Deadly Salami, so it suits! |

I'll post my pic of the fur. It's kinda hard to see, but I'm working on it. |

And for Paintshop Pro users... I just use a textured spray, and build up the fur with a few variations of colour. You can keep the texture for dodging, to make highlights, and set it to none when burning for low lights. |

Yeah, the Ancient Axeman (That's the name of the skin) is inspired by the Phantom Lancer from DOTA. That was one of the first skins I ever saw, along with the predator. :ggani: |
