Better Warcraft II editor?

Yes, there is, although I don't know of any Warcraft 2 sites still alive.

Ive checked a couple and all i need is a Name changer in the editor

Also so i would need a UMSWE Warcraft II Editor

UMSWE == War3, not War2. Changing the names of units in maps is not possible in War2, although you can fairly easily with WarDraft.

I was looking for one too. I basically want the puds from wacraft II, the puds from the single player. Anyone know where I could find these? Or get an editor that can extract these? I have BNE so wardraft doesnt work...

BNE uses mpqs, so you can just use winmpq.

I tried that but when it opens it, only 3 real files (files with extensions on them) are listed. The others are just files (i.e. dont have a file extension on them). I am trying to get just puds yet no file in there has a .pud extention. And file names are like 000dsaf00sadf (i.e. have nothing listed to help you tell the difference between files). So I have no idea what are map files, and what are just sound files.

Really i miss the days of Ogres and Forest trolls being apart of the horde and the male high elves and such and the sweet gameplay, not that im saying that war2 is better than war3 but i dont know alot of time war3 lags on bnet and such like 8 ff but getting a new comp soon for christmas

So i was talking about a UMSWE like war2 editor not that one excists with the name but want a editor that almost as costimizable as UMSWE.

Wardraft changes the names of the units in the whole game which i want that feature to be in a editor and only change the names of units in pud.files
