Custom Unit Sounds Issue

Otay, I have custom UNIT SOUNDS that I'm trying to use (with TFT). I have:

Converted them to .wav

Renamed them to match EXISTING unit sounds

Imported them via Import manager into the campaign file

Pathed them to the exact path (and case) of the original sound set
----------->ie: Units\Orc\HeroFarSeer\HeroFarSeerWhat1.wav

Set the applicable unit to the appropriate sound set in Custom Data

Imported 3 slks from war3x.mpq (as per Darky's suggestion)
----------->UISounds.slk
----------->UnitAckSounds.slk
----------->UnitCombatSounds.slk

I later imported 2 MORE slks because they mention sound set files:
----------->EAXDefs.slk
----------->PortraitAnims.slk

Now... a couple of my 'new' sounds were EXISTING dragon sounds. For that particular unit I am 'commandeering' the HeroFarSeer sound set. I renamed the couple of dragon sounds as FarSeer sounds along with all the NEW sounds for that set. The dragon sounds DO work while the others do NOT.

Given that, it only makes sense that there is either a problem with the files or the slks.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what I'm missing?

EDIT:
This is the SECOND request for help I've made in this forum and the SECOND time I've had to get the help elsewhere/figure it out myself.
Useful forum this. :bgrun:
Anyhoo, the fix was in the files. They needed to be 22050Hz 16-bit mono.
