Romance Cinematic? Simple question, Yes or No? -Demon_Dream |

absolutely ;) I think it would be neat to see a change in the usual "This is a huge war" style cinematic. (:guns: = :bgrun:) I think it would take a really good story to make it worth while though. Anything that was too cheesy or that tried too hard would :nono: . I trust you have only the EXPERT terrainer(s) at your side. But overall, I love cinematics and I wouldn't mind watching something heartfelt. |

I'd like to see a change in cinematics. Although you'd have to make new animations for kissing, and a vibrating bed model :D. |

id like to see a love movie... considering that warcraft3 only supplies us with such limited models and skins, people would have to make custom skins, models, and animations, and have a REALLY good story line.:D |

Warcraft is not exactly meant for romance. Have you seen many computer games with romance? No. Computer games are generally meant for action/adventure, thinking, shooting, etc. They are not meant for romance---that is what movies are for if you want to see romance. Besides, the low polygonness of WC3 would greatly take away from the effect. Warcraft III units are meant to have weapons in their hands. In some models such as the footman, the eyes are stuck on his hands as well as the spot where his eyes are supposed to be. It just doesn't work. |

uhm..Max Payne 2.. is amazing..and it's a romance there have been many romantic video games.. so just shut your mouth! no physical love has to be shown between the characters anyway... dork.. |

Hmmm... That last post certainly was interesting... There's no need to get excited, but I don't think that the setup of Warcraft III really allows for romance. Seeing text displayed on a console and no real notable animation except for perhaps a footman taking a swig from his canteen. To me, that doesn't exactly express the feeling of romance. The example you cited, Max Payne, in a high polygon, extremely detailed texture environment. They make custom animations for most cinimatic-like scenes, and I doubt any mod group would take the time to put in that much effort in a single cinimatic. |
