While I don't have tested UMSWE 4.0 or 4.1 beta with the new 1.13 patch, I can only recommend to not use these advanced WEs, as they don't contain the new features like Buff editing. The same holds true for WEU. I can only tell you that I will work on a new release of UMSWE, which will support 1.13. Additionally I think PitzerMike will do the same for WEU (this is no official statement from him). So for now, UMSWE is rendered useless. It might even start up without errors, but I can only tell you that 1.13 is not supported now. So stick with the normal WE for some time. A compatibility fix for WE-No-Limits is available here: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=20652 |

Well... I'm screwed... I can't open it with the normal WE, because of all the UMSWE triggers. I can still open UMSWE, and save, but it is all messed up, and I can't find the triggers that are UMSWE only... Please, I'am begging you, make a patch that will fix all this quickly! |

Try to convert your triggers to custom text. |

Theres got to be over 200 triggers in my map, and converting that many will take forever. could you be more specific on what triggers I should convert? When the map loads is says it dosen't understand some kind of order action, and a black square thingy. I copied the map without any triggers and it seems to be working, but if I try to import the triggers it crashes WE. |

Oh, great... EDIT: I can now open my map in the old WE (patch 1.12), next step is to get it to be able to save. |

I can't really take a break, because I have been working on the new version for my map for over 2 months, and I want to get it out on B.net before no one remembers Durotar Vs Lordaeron... The map seems to work with the triggers in-game, but the WE dosent like them at all... |

Could you give an ETA of UMSWE 4.1 with a huge margin of error? Like 1 week through 6 months? Thanks :D I don't know if it'll be worth it to uninstall warcraft, update to the previous patch and use umswe and convert to JASS the triggers that use umswe... (have my map is JASS anyways). I'm leaning towards just waiting for UMSWE :) Are there any new features UMSWE will have BECAUSE of the patch? |

Maybe there should be two new versions of UMSWE, one for combatability with old UMSWE's, and one without the extra clutter. (for new maps) |

:( I was almost done updating my map...and now it's unuseable. Well...maybe not, but I'm really lost. Now when I load my map using the 1.12 compatible UMSWE, it shows little error messages like "missing string this" and "unable to find SV_XOMTH_SOMETHING". What are these things that are now missing? And, will these errors be gone when you make a 1.13-compatible UMSWE? If not, what should I do? :( |

So is work being done for a 1.13 compatible patch? Or will 4.2 feature 1.13 support. Anyways, is there a ETA for the fix? |

Due to WUE base programming (being an edited version of the original editor..) it is already is partially compatible with the new version... or so it seems. The BUFF ART tab DOES show up in WEU, although not properly, but enough that you could understand and edit the fields with no problems... the question is would it SAVE it properly....... |

The buff editor is not the problem. This are just some missing strings that can be added quickly. And I'm convinced it will save properly. Addidtionally some SLKs will have to be updated as it seems they changed the format again. Besides that a list of error messages you get could he helpful, so we don't forget to fix something.... |

I can now save the map in the 1.12 WE, now I just need to fix the 20 or so compile errors. ://// |

actually the only errors I remember seeing when I opened it were the Unable to load strings (They all appeared when I opened the object editor). And there were so many of those that if there was a different error before they showed up there was no chance to see it... I didn't open the trigger editor yet, so I don't know if it had any errors. I will go error hunting in about 5 hours (when I get home from my first shift at work.) PS. SCFreak. Did you recieve my map? |
