i haven't done this in a long while ok so bare with me. i want to replace models AND skins in the war3.mpq, so i opened up mpq2k typed mpq2k a war3.mpq footman.mdx Units\Human\Footman\Footman.mdx and pressed enter then i did mpq2k a war3.mpq footman.blp Units\Human\Footman\Footman..blp then mpq2k a war3.mpq footman)portrait.mdx Units\Human\Footman\Footman)portrait.mdx the only thing that happened was that now when i make footmen, their portrait is black, what did i do wrong? and if possible could u help me to do it right? |

It's footman_portrait, not Footman)portrait, and you put two dots in the skin path aswell. Mkq2k is not recommended for beginners, get winmpq or something! |

i'm not a beginner i just haven't done this in forever! BTW i had footman_portrait.mdx and footman.blp ii just typed it wrong when i posted it |
