meh... you draw an anime style pic... and then colour it realistically... not good.

That and the fact that the lines are too thin.

So, go back and redo it with anime style shading after you thicken the lines...

then it will look better... and that colour scheme scares me.

OK, as far as making a crisp line goes...

goto the polykarbon tutorials:
http://www.polykarbon.com/tutorials/html/channels2.html

summary:
1) scan in the image.
2)hit ctrl m to bring up the window of some thingy ( i cant think of It right now)
3)drag it into a nice shallow S shape.
4)cut it from the layer, duplicate the blue channel, paste it in there, then invert it.
5) goto select menu, use "Load Selection" then load the blue channel copy--Alpha 1
6) clean and crisp line.

I crisp lines a bit different when I actually care about them. I go to the line layer, click the magic wand tool, unclick Congruous, and select the white portion of the layer. I then invert the selection, expand by 1 pixel, then color it in black. Nice, crisp lines. I haven't done that since August though...crisp lines look bad with my shoddy style of shading.

The design is excellent. It's feels like a EQ character, only better.
I like the weapon, and I like the armor.
But I prefer your pencil drawing better.

If you want to get crisp lines with by digital inking, you NEED to have a drawing tablet. Either that or sketch really softly, then go over the lines with a darker pencil, scan it in and adjust the levels option to make the sketch lines dissappear.

i think that looks awsome, good detail, and bright colors, thats not allways too good, i like black and red pattern instead of yello and red, w/e it looks pretty good, keep it up
