Parachute Skin

Here is a parachute I skinned. I also had to MDL edit it to get areas transparent or remove Team Color.

It does not have cables to attach to the person, but I like it considering there was no model editing involved.

It is on the ground now, but would be better used in a cinematic or as an SFX attachment.

What do you guys think? It's my first time skinning or MDL editing, but I am quite happy with it.

Heh good guess. I was going to use a mushroom, but it was bent awkwardly so instead I based it on the Draenei Hut model... It was quite fun playing around in the MDL trying to get the walls and such to alpha out correctly without knowing what anything did :p...

Er.... A half circle?

Nice model editing, But a green airbrush with some brown isn't that impressive.......

Hmm, well actually, It was 3 gradiented colored layers on top of an alpha channeled one. Then I blended them and used layer masks to get rid of some of the wierd edges. Then I painted on some wierd patterns and used liquefy and blended them into it too. Then I drew the black lines and burned and smudged them.

So it took a bit more than an airbrush, Zap :ggani:
