Recovering a map with WinMPQ?

Well, after a TON of work on one of my maps, it seems to be completely unopenable now. But I may come off lucky. I have a backup. All the work was done with triggers. I can open the map with WinMPQ.

Is there a way that I can use WinMPQ to extract the triggers from my corrupt map and then import it into the backup?

Be careful not corrupting your backup too. dont know if you can extract particular data from a map.

and the wct file

actually the .j file isn't needed, as it's generated from the other files

OK, did that, and figured out the problem. I had to switch from UMSWE to the normal WE for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, I don't have the expansion, but UMSWE enabled all the expansion trigger stuff and I must've used one of them. Warcraft thinks my map is an expansion map. :bgrun:

I'm going to be getting TFT for XMas, so problem will be solved then I guess.

I'll just start the next map in the campaign until then.
