Well, after a TON of work on one of my maps, it seems to be completely unopenable now. But I may come off lucky. I have a backup. All the work was done with triggers. I can open the map with WinMPQ. Is there a way that I can use WinMPQ to extract the triggers from my corrupt map and then import it into the backup? |

Be careful not corrupting your backup too. dont know if you can extract particular data from a map. |

and the wct file actually the .j file isn't needed, as it's generated from the other files |

OK, did that, and figured out the problem. I had to switch from UMSWE to the normal WE for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, I don't have the expansion, but UMSWE enabled all the expansion trigger stuff and I must've used one of them. Warcraft thinks my map is an expansion map. :bgrun: I'm going to be getting TFT for XMas, so problem will be solved then I guess. I'll just start the next map in the campaign until then. |
