AMAI 1.9 Release

The Advanced Melee AI mod is now available in version 1.9.
Download it on the AMAI site.

New features:
-Computers will no longer expand to the same locations in every game.
-Computers will make better use of Zeppelin and Town Portal scroll to keep hero and army alive.
-Computers now buy items at goblin merchant. This enables them to use scroll of healing and scroll of protection.
-Profile specific behavior in aggression towards different kind of targets like enemy expansions and creeps.

The installer does not modify the game. It just installs the AI scripts to the specified map. They can be installed with other means too if you like.

Hey guys(authors of AMAI),would it be very hard(I'm guessing not really) to make the BUILT-IN map description of AMAI maps lil different than the original map's description.Since Warcraft III is paying attention to the built-in one,especially when considering which player has to download the map from the multiplayer game host, before they can play together.I do that manually now, renaming the map in the Editor, so Battlenet engine correctly supplies my buddies with the AMAI map I used to create the game.
Simply a different name, like adding AMAI 2.0 to the current name ^^
saves alot of confusion too ^^ when you're in the create game screen, and you see the built in name(the one warcraft displays in the create game dialog) you make a game with the one you really intend to..

I have thought of that my self, and will probably add it for AMAI 2.0

Keep up the good work guys, I believe there are lots of people besides me who REALLY appreciate your efforts. And..it'd be GREAT if the AMAI strats get improved in the 2.0,so the computer starts beating me all the time..It'll make us all work hard for our wins against the AI, and our strategy practice games against it of a greater help in developing ourselves..
