a 100% worthless native function confirmed

Most of us have known and assumed that the I2R function was completely worthless function and blizzard has just confirmed that.

Not necessarily -- casting versus converting with I2R might round differently. Should test.

I can't really see why rounding is needed when casting/converting from an integer to a real.

I believe this function remains for backwards compability. I'm not certain, but I believe previous versions of Warcraft didn't cast automatically.

EDIT: It just might have been casting reals to integers that I was thinking of, which still doesn't work automatically.

There is no need for the function, other then probably for the GUIs sake.
