Have a look at my map.

1) why the animations aren't suddently working? (worked fine yesterday...)

2) WHY THE **** is the archer pivoting around, as it should just turn towards the Ettin (ogre)?

P.S. Don't laugh. it's just a rough version.

emote_confused Can two animations in the same trigger affect eachother?

BTW, patch 1.13 isn't affecting my map, i'm sure of that.

Edit: I moved the second animation and the angle facing command to the second trigger. Second animation works fine, but the first animation doesn't work and she is still pivoting in circles...

Well i fixed it, what ive done is pause the archer hlafway through the swivel so she ends up in the rigth direction. yes i know its not a great system but at least its works, for now.

Thanks! :D I owe you one.

Now if i could just get the animations working... Sometimes WE can be so gay you know? I've been having problems with all my animations, which i have used in my maps... Sometimes they work, some times don't, sometimes work fine, untill i insert another or when i start WE again the next day, they just stop working...

Edit: Now i dropped the first stand 5 animation and replaced it with the Stand 2 'un, and it works fine. Guess my problems are solved now.

Edit: On second thought, maybe not. The second animation stopped working just now...:bangH:
Why must rare animations be so tricky...?

Edit: Shite. Now the first 'un stopped working too... This is ridicilous. Both stopped working in a matter of minutes after i got them working. Anybody else having similiar problems with unit animations? I mean, this can't be normal.

I did some research and here's some things i found out:

The unit i'm using is archer.

-Stand 2 and stand ready are common animations and stand 3 and 5 are rare animations.

-"play unit animation" action works only with common animations.

-"play unit animation (specify rarity)" works with both common and rare animations, if it's set according to animation rarity.

-Two separate unit playing their animations (rare or common) don't affect eachother and should work just fine.

-But If you're using two animations in the same trigger on the same unit, the first must be f. ex. common and the second must be rare (and vice versa), or it doesn't work.

I find this somewhat weird. If this knowledge is useless, sorry. But has ayone else noticed this? I'll do more research. Maybe i'll find a pattern which makes the usage of animations easier. (For me anyways. Someone might have found out a better way, i don't know.)
Oh, and sorry for bumping.

its useless, the only correct bit of info there is the 3rd part - 2 diff units playing animation dont affect each other.

Is it? *scratches head* :(

Well anyways, I can't get the two animations working. They're both using the 'play unit animation(specify rarity)' but the thing is, whatever i do, the other one isn't working. I'll just post the trigger here. Maybe someone knows why it isn't working.

try using the "que unit animation" instead of play, but apart from the fact i never use specefy rarity i cant see anything wrong with that.

That's weird.emote_confused
I always have to use specify rarity, because if i don't, majority of the animations don't work. But, i'll try queing them.
