I know it is possible how do i put hero abilities in a spellbook. Also can you have multiple copies of glyph of fortification as ability. So my i idea would be you could have 1 spellbook that learned spells and another with hero abilities. Please give me an example. Brugs |

You can't have two Spellbook abilities on one unit. So your plan wouldn't work. |

Yes you can with patch 1.13 there is a new data field that makes it possible. check this posts http://www.battle.net/forums/war3/th...t=16#post87713 http://www.battle.net/forums/war3/th...t=12#post87809 Brugs |

Well he's right, you can definitely have multiple spellbook abilities on a single hero now (hurrah!). This is accomplished by changing the "Base Order ID" field (A new field only given to the the spellbook and channeling abilities) to something different for each ability. (This will NOT work if you just set each field to "NONE", they must each HAVE an order ID which is different from any others or there will be problems.) This doesn't work with hero abilities though, it never has. I've tried it myself with the new patch and I couldn't get it to work. Though with some painful workaround, I suppose it might be possible. |

I feel stupid now. Oh well. Just as an interesting point, I just tried on WE, and it let me have any abilities that share a root on the same unit. So you might get what you want to work via triggers. |

You can get Hero spells to lvl in a spellbook via custom upgrades, I tested that. I can't get the glyph of fortification to upgrade any spell lvls. I don't know if its bugged. It would be nice if it worked with glyph and you could have multiple glyphs abilities. Brugs |
