Anyways, Christmas is coming up, and for once in my life I thought about getting something other than computer games. I thought about buying a paint program which I could use to colour my drawings and possibly skin in WC3. I looked around and most people have Paintshop or Photoshop. I would like to know what you guys think I should get. I'm not very experienced at either, but which one (Paintshop or Photoshop) is better and is more useful to skin & colour drawings? In my opinion Photoshop is the better choice. It has more options and possibilities than PSP and the handling is easier. |

if people have used both they will always say photoshop, it is the better program. the only reason why people say paint shop pro is because it is cheaper. |

Ohh no not another 1 of these. anywayz I LOVE PHOTOSHOP. I worship at its temple. Paint shop pro is equally as good, but in my opinion photoshop is better. Youll also find more Tutorials and people 2 help u online and books in stores. Theres also magazines that feature photoshop sections every month or do entire issues about it. Its the leading photoediting, graphic design, etc.. program in the art industry. Its also easier to "Find" online. *Wink* *Wink* I just got Photoshop CS it Roxzors. But if u wanna actually buy it i wouldn't suggest it cause it cost $700 dollars, and $170 for just the upgrade. Im just 17 i dont have this kinda cash to buy it. |

Well, I'm not sure about Paintshop because I only have Photoshop. But Photoshop is pretty good because It's easy to use :ggani:. |

I'm getting it for christmas and i've been living off multiple windows installs, and photoshop trails ^_^ Anyway, PHotoshop is better . |

Each has pluses and minuses. Photoshop is excelent if you are somewhat experienced with that type of program. The problem is it can be overwhelming for beginners and with a sticker price of $500+ street, it isn't the most frugal purchase. Paintshop is a lot easier on the pocket book at around $80. It is good for beginners becauses it is moddeled a little like MS Paint. But don't think it isn't able to keep up. It served me well for my early skinning years. The best advice is to download a free trial of each. Try www.jasc.com for PSP and www.adobe.com for PS. Good luck. |
