Well I'* making a map, where you choose one out of 9 heros with a wisp. The you appear on the map and you fight creeps and explore for items and levels. You loose by having your hero killed, and you win by being the last hero alive. I already have the trigger that defeats someone, but what is the trigger I should use for victory? I'* kinda new at this.:bangH: And how would I lock people from changing team or allying while on the same force? I can't have seperate forces because there are more then 6 players. Oh and I forgot how to add my own custom mini map, I know I take it from one that came with tft.... If you wanna help me through, you could AIM me at zonzonninja |

Counting last hero alive shudnt be too hard. the player who is alive = player with alive unit inside your region. Example: game - text message to all players owner of unit(unit inside battle region) + has won the battle! works for me... im making a battle arena with only units, kinda same thing:D |

Well my map isn't really a hero arena...It's kind of like one round of a hero arena. But can you explain how to use the trigger more?, Im a noob at this... |

If you want to, you could always use the trigger action: Game - Victory for Player (1), (Show) scores, (Show) dialogs. You can change anything in parentheses... You'll probably want to substitute a variable for 1. |

He already knows how to use the action, I'm sure. He's asking how would he go about setting up the event to declare victory for the winner. How would he know the winner? That is what he's asking. Jesus, are you people that dense? Ok, it's fairly simple, I would say, but I need more information: 1) Does every player have the same hero? 2) When a player loses, does he automatically get kicked out of the game? 3) How many players are there? If you could answer those questions for me, I could help you out better. If you need me to clear up any of the questions, just ask. I can tell you now, that it's going to be done through your Defeat Trigger. Every time a player is defeated, you check how many players are left. If there's only one left, then he's obviously the winner. Therefore, you would declare that player the winner. Anyway, I have to go. Good luck. :D |
