Hi guys! I had an idea about an "adventure map" and i would need to make the unit (your main character) jump in the air! do you think it could be possible only with triggers or should i make my owns with the JASS language ?! :bgrun: consider (if it's possible) the jump animation will take the run animation.

yes its possibl and pretty easy, all you have to do is have your unit, a copy of thsat unit with the movement type of "flying" then whenever you want it to fly, you replace your unit with the dummy unit, and set the dummy unit's flying hight, OR you could set your units move type to flying and set his hight to 0 and then move him up or down with triggers, but then you would have to put air pathing blockers everywhere... i'd say do the first one, i think the trigger is "animation - set unit flying hight"

sorry for the double post but i don't think it will work with the kind of map i want to do :( does the unit will immediatly spawn in the air then repawn on the ground? because it's not what i want... I'll prefer if the unit could really have a jumping effect (like in mario bros on NES platform!) one image (animation for wc) of mario on ground and an other image when he's in the air! I think it's could be possible by creating custom units with some flying units with different high like you said UltimateJim but i didn't understand the "air pathing blockers" part. :(

it sets the flying hist to ### over ### hight a second, so you can have it go fast or really slow, just fiddle with it, what i ment is if you have your normal unit as flying, so you dont have to swich it, then you have to put air pathing blockers so that your unit doesn't walk over cliff/trees etc.
