Problem staying logged in long enough to Post/Make Thread

For some reason, whenever I try to post anything, start a new thread, etc, it asks me for my password before it takes me to the screen to do whatever, then again after I click submit, and then it says "No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster". Inspecting the HTML shows that the session ID variable 's' isn't get passed to anything, and when I make local copies and paste my session ID in there and then use the local HTML file it works (until the session times out of course)

It would be really nice to get some feedback on this and possibly have somebody fix it(I've emailed it to the forum admin link mentioned above, and via the 'contact us' link), because there are a lot of posts where I could help people but I takes so much work to reply that it isn't worth it most of the time =-/

Have you tried logging out, closing all of IE, deleting all cookies, and then logging back in?

This has been happening to me for months already. Theres something wrong with the cookies. Clear all your cookies and from now on log in through the download or tutorail sections. You should stay cookied. Next time you visit the site click on the download section and you will be logged in again.

Not only have I closed IE, cleared cookies, restarted etc, but I've reformatted and reinstalled since I first got this problem (which was a LONG time ago).
I just used the download section to log in and it seems to have worked.
