My First Skin Ever!!!!!

Here it is guys, my first skin ever. Plz offer crits so I can improve it b4 I release it in the downloads section.



It looks a little better in-game.

I did some simple recolor on his skirt and skin and then I created my own freehand reptile pattern that I used to do the rest of it.

You need to shade the scales as a whole. The red skin doesnt fit well i thin you should change it. Nice for a first :D

[edit] I was just wonderin, If you don't like the red skin, then what would you say should be there? The original green? Blue? Orange? Also, do you mean that individual scales need to be shaded or the overall picture?

Make it like either white, yellow, or beige. I mean shade all the scale parts. You shaded them already but you need to shade them as a group. In real life is your shirt always look that 1 color in every spot? No because there are different elements of shading. Some areas should be darker then others.

thats not bad, finish the scales on the whole body and as mock1 said, the red skin does not fit in.

for your first skin i'd give it about a 7\10 (for a normal skin for somebody else id give it a 5)

only one problem i see it is a oxymoron u cant have a chaos shamen its pretty nice but the eyes need to be red, also u should look up before hand in the important first skin thread

i like it mocks right shade the skin as a whole not just the individual skales i like it tho keep workin on it. I have skins that take me days. so dont settle for 4-5 hrs.

When will this be released?

I plan to release it when everyone here thinks that it would deserve a 9/10, right now i am getting 5-6.

[edit] sry for not reading the stickied thread about first skins. It was really late when I posted this sucker and I was tired.

UPDATE: I changed his skin to a beige color and added a lot of shading to the scales. I will post a pic in like 20 mins.

I didn't really like his skin as beige so i made it a really vibrant green.

It doesnt matter about the thread. I really dont like the post your first skin thread. I think everyone should get their own thread for proper feedback.

okay guys, sorry about the delay in getting the new improved screenie up. I had to go somewhere and I just got back. Here it is, the new improved Reptile Shaman.

Try changing the bottom of his robe, make him unique.

I did want to change his skirt thingie, but I couldn't think of anything that would go well with my reptile skin. If I made it reptile skin it would get kind of monotonous just looking at a reptile pattern. I am not quite sure. I will take suggestions on it, I want this to look great.

[edit] I wanted to take away that little hair thing he has at the back of his head, but I don't know how to alpha stuff out. Does anyone know how to do this?
