uvw unwrapping

omg this is annoying i have downloaded teleporter and i go to untilitys and more and it isnt there GRRRRRRr

plus how do u uvw unwrapp with more than 1 geomentric thing all into one file

I try to find a way since 2 months but nobody tells it to me! But I have have worked out two ways. They work but only with simbel modls like buildings. Make for every mesh a uvw map and texport them. Than put them all together with PS for example. But there is a high risk that the uvw maps overlap themselves.

The second way is a bit better but needs more work. Collapse all meshes to one and make uvw map. Texport it and make the skin. Than devide the model in so many parts you need and than use the skin as the backgound for the uvw map. Than you can move the uvw map for each part on their right place.

um, i dont got 3dmax. which i did, but so far of the 3 kazaa downloads ive gotten, well, 1 thing is missing or another, sometimes its just a dll, but in anycase i seem to be stuck with gmax... anyone got a good tutorial for that?
