This game is kinda like zelda, where you go through temples and defeat monsters and go through puzzles. And gain abilities, so u can do more. Download the zip, unzip it, then play the map. Post your comments and suggestions, and if you could, save the replay and attach it. So i can see what u did, and see if there are any bugs. Also type out what you are thinking during the replay, like if a part is hard, say "this part is way too hard". This has only the first temple on it, cause im seeing if people like my style of the game or not and stuff before i continue on. heres some screen shots: screen1: ![]() screen2: ![]() |

I didn't save the replay but I have a couple bugs to report. The fountain of power in town, and one of the runes of death in the forest belong to player 1, I think they should be neutral passive or neutral hostile or something. The magician's name is Medivh when you click on him (sorry I can't remember the name you gave him). During a couple of cinematics, the NPCs were still attacked by my hero. I think this was only during the Wilderbeast cinematics. And the last one, (unless I think of something later that I forgot) - is kinda funny - during the last cinematic, after killing the King of the Forest Realm, the Spirit of the Realm turned his corpse into a spirit of vengeance :D |

wow....thx for all the bugs I guess i didnt catch all those I tried to make it so the hero wouldnt be attacked during a cinematic, but i guess it didnt work. I tried making all units invulnerable in the begining of a cinematic, then vulneralble after the cinematic did u like the game or not? edit: I still need more people to test |

I enjoyed it, though I'll admit it was terrible trying to get used to the camera angle. Maybe you could put in a way to change it to a different angle, because it's very difficult to keep the hero in focus in such tight quarters (he's often hidden behind rocks or trees and you can't see what's happening.) That is really just my personal preference though, and I did get used to it after awhile. For the cinematics, you could simply pause the hero during the cinematic which should prevent him from attacking. My problem seemed to be that.. I had clicked too near to the enemies and when the cinematic started my hero kept going and started attacking the enemies while they were doing their cinematic thing and not attacking back. |

ok....ill add strings that you can type so u can change the angles the problem is that if i do that then it wont be zelda like when you have the camera at an overview angle. You dont get the full excitement. Ill post an update of the game on sunday or monday after christmas. If anyone has more comments and suggestions, just post them. |

Only two things drew me away from playing that map again....The camera angle and the storyline. The camera angle just annoyed me and the story was not very well done. It leaves a lot of holes in the story. For instance, you say that their was a person walking the realms making funny hand signs and so scout followed him. Well first off that doesn't seem like a resonable thing to do. The guy makes funny hand signs...so what maybe he is using sign language......see where I am going with this. It just doesn't seem like a good reason to spy on him. Other than that the map was great! Great sounds/music/terrain/ideas. All that needs work is the story/script (Spelling, grammar, and flow problems) and the camera could be changed. Good Luck and keep up the good work! |
