Im just wondering... cause I like it best this way... in that we use this as a general art community... where game art etc. is welcomed... If It ever came to the point where non-warcraft stuff started to be scorned... that would be sad. As of yet... I have not drawn anything good... and If i have, I have messed up the shading. let's discuss this issue... I really would like to hear what you guys have to say... btw originally I was going to name this thread "NOTICE: THIS FORUM IS FOR WARCRAFT ART", but then I decided that a real mod would get mad at me... and that I didnt really feel that way. icbm1987 |

I've never drawn anything warcraft... I usually draw anything that comes to mind, and warcraft just doesn't really come to mind. |

the only thing ive ever plagerized has been warhammer 40k, and i try to vary it enough to look unique. i guess alot of fatasy art could be worked into the warcraft world in some way or another, which is cool. but, personally, i have never actually drawn any warcraft fanart (truth be told, im not too good at orcs.) |

You have to admit tho... W40K could easily become Warcraft in the future... Humans = Imperium.... Space marines Elves= Eldar Night Elves= Dark Eldar Scourge= Tyranid Burning Legion= Chaos Space Marines Naga= Tau? Arthas' undead= Necrons? i love the fact that fantasy and scifi are almost one and the same... they go back and forth very easily... that is why it is so easy to like W40k... even though it does break the bank... D&D is fun... has anyone tryed the Warcraft mod to it?... Im talking bout the pencil and paper one here... icbm1987 |

i've been pretty much obsessed with drawing warcraft for a while now... it is only very recent that i have drawn some cartoony and anime stuff :D |

well it is concept art, and since it could be a concept for any warcraft map (like starcraft mod for example) it could still be warcraft concept art no matter what it is... |

I think the balance is perfect. Enough wc art to stay on topic, but some other stuff so we don't get sick of wc art. |
