I'm attempting to attach the PH1 music to a Rockin Arthas doodad as a looping 3D sound. Since there's no attach to destructible function, I just attached it to a unit standing right next to the Rockin Arthas. However, every time I load the map, I never hear the sound, so I'm going to describe exactly what I'm doing, and hopefully someone will correct my mistake. I used the PH1 music as a sound variable instead of a music one. In the variable properties, I checked Looping, 3D sound, and Stop When Out of Range. I set the Volume to 127, and the Fade In Rate and Fade Out Rate to 10. Then, I set the pitch to 1.00. The Minimum Distance was 0, and the Maximum Distance was 100000. The Cutoff Distance was 3000. Finally, I set the Effect to Default, and the Channel to General. Finally, my trigger to start the sound goes like this: EVENTS: Time Elapsed - 0 seconds. ACTIONS: Attach PH1 to Unit. Play PH1. I have all the sound channels on in the in-game Sound Options... and I think I've done everything necessary... what's going on? |

I don't have an answer I'm afraid - it's more of a technical issue than purely sound related. Try somewhere else, then, ideally the mapmaking area of the forum. |
