What do you look for in an AOS type-map?

Im creating a AoS type map as the topic obviously points out, however i want some peoples views on matters of an AoS that they feel crap/good to, im going to state down some things and i simply ask for your opinion, if u want after uve answered my questions just put down what esle u look for as to help my own map.

1.Abilities - spells, most AoS's give gold to the last striker, as this is a very obvious flaw when using trigger enhancing spells, Would you still want the trigger enchanced spells or would you rather set for a less of a show, but get your manas worth?

2.Abilites - cooldown, cooldown seems to be a big problem in some guys, everything the hero has is a rather long cooldown and u cant find yourself casting any spells for heaps long, so heres my question. Would you rather long cooldowns = Cool spells that do heaps of damage and heaps of improvements to you or your team. Or Short cooldowns = spells that dont excactly do much, but can help turn the tides by using them in rapid succesion with other short cooldown spells, obviously ultimate spell not included.

3.Abilties - number of spells per hero, how many spells do you like on your hero? ive set with a maximum of 4, 3 spells and 1 ultimate spell, do you as a player think this is better then having 4 spells, maybe 3, and 1/2 ultimates?

4. Heroes - Number of heroes per side, how much variety do you like in your heroes? what is maximum number of heroes you would want to pick from? 8? 10?

5.Heroes - Same heroes per side? would you like the same heroes on each side to make the game fairly even and not get people who immediately jump to one team for one sole character?

6. Terrain - Rugged, 1 brush size scale touches? symterical look? what is ur favourite type of terrian you like seeing and describe it.

7. Your Team - Building up, i had an idea that came together rather fast, it seems that both sides are caught of guard at the start by the sudden war and start with nothing, but a handful of men and builders, you see your team build up its base and soldiers while getting peons working for lumber and gold, which also contributes to your team, is this a good idea?

8. Your Team - Units, so with units, what do you want from them? do you expect them to support you or just rush blindly to their deaths? do you expect them to regroup as not to loss each other or just hurry up and run into the battlefield? or maybe have there own AI where sometimes they just dont go and wait for reinforcements? your thoughts?

9. Your Team - Upgrades, I dont like upgrades much, they seem to unbalance the game at uneven points if u dont haev a good team, and thats the downfall in ToB, if you dont have a team that communicates with each other all the time and pools gold, and the other team can, ur in for a world of hurt, do you want upgrades such as more units, or just units attack damage?

10. Last one :D Heroes - The hero lvl cap on heroes? my current is set for lvl 15 as to not screw up balance, at lvl 15 thats it, u cant do no more for your hero but buy items, NO TOMES ALLOWED.

Thank you for your time and support. and also 10 points to whoever answers this questions truthfully and honestly!

Personally I would want 3 spells and 1 ultimate, urban type terrain, symetrical and lots of doodads are an essential (nice looking not rugged), as a player i am saying this of course. For the cooldowns I would enjoy heaps of damage and longer cooldowns, 8-10 heros diffrent per side, trigger enhanced spells, i think having your team contribute to you is a good idea, you're defending them why shouldnt they assist you by tributing gold and wood? From units i would want them to regroup and actually do some damage instead of blindly running in. For heros speciffically i prefer having some that have 4 levels of regular spells, 2 levels of ultimate and maybe a attribute bonus preferably 4 levels like other spells. So total that comes to a level 18 hero. For upgrades i dont care much, however i do like seeing new units added to the spawns every once in awhile insted of the same old guys over and over and over, especially in those AoS that last an hour or more. Hope this helps.

The computer allie that helps you seems to be incoherent. There are points in the game where they are a really big help, but unless anyone upgrades them they are useless. I would like to see the computer allies be smarter and maybe even human controlled. It would be nice if they could set up ambushes and the such. Better variety too. Make some seiged and ranged attackers, maybe even some that cast spells.
