Guest | We have finally come to an ultimatum. Since Epigoni, leader of this project, is the only person who has to do any more real work for this project, the project's release all depends on his diligence. We (and the public) are sick of having to drag on a release date always to revoke it at the last moment. Many Warcraft III Campaigns projects are plagued by an inabiility to get things done and we will break free of that with this ultimatum. If Epigoni does not complete his work by January 31st, 2004, we will cancel this mod for good. He himself may choose to continue working and releasing it later, but if that date is not met, the remaining team will be disbanded and hosting terminated. We loathe to have to come to such a drastic measure, but we want to end this soon as it will be a waste of our time and yours if it drags on longer. Thank you for your understanding. |

Hmm that's not good. A lot of us have been looking forward to this mod being released. That which has a beginning has an end, and it looks like fps mod is coming to its end prematurely. |

I dont see how you can end a mod that has almost been worked on for a year, and is so close to being finished. Not to mention the large fanbase waitin gfo rit to arrive |

I'm wondering how disbanding the team and canceling the mod will do anything considering that's exactly what has already happened. I'm not just the only one with any work left to do, I'm the only one left (Draco is helping but not work wise). I mean, personally I can release the engine at any time, but I will try and finish the stuff that I've been trying to finish before the 31'st and I should actually have it done tommorow. But what I wonder is what's the difference, the team is already gone and it's not like anything else is going to be made for the mod... |

So, why not release the engine and keep working on the project at the same time? I'm sure you could get more people to help you make the campaign if they thought this engine was gunna actually work... |
