i suddenly came to ask myself... where did the blademasters come from!? they dont really seem that orcish, kinda chinese samurai style... and when i looked over the gallery of samwise, http://www.sonsofthestorm.com/gallery_samwise.html , i suddenly came to realise that the pandaren represent the chinese culture in the warcraft universe, they got that samurai style going down right there, so i thought hey... at some point there must have been an orc or some orcs maybe raised by pandas, or at least schooled by pandas in their arts of war/martial arts!! these orcs where to be the first of the blademasters, passing on their knowlidge to further generations! so whadda ya think? this theory make any sense to you people? well, whatever you think, i'm gonna make a pic about it... or more! heres a WIP of a panda master and his orcish apprentice in stance, touching zwords right before a friendly duel! |

err...I'm pretty sure tha Samurai are Japanese. The Panderan are defintialy Chinese, so I don't really see any connection between them apart from them both based on Asian cultures. |

the blademasters were once part of the Burning Blade clan, the most ferocious of the orc clans. They were all slightly insane and would attack anyone, even other orcs. The rest of the clans would release them upon the enemy when need be. The clan was eliminated at the end of te Second War, and the survivors joined Thrall as the Blademasters. nice pic btw |

the bladermaster is a sort of samurai who is a swordmaster with some ninja skills. the panda is a swordsman who has some chinese kungfu and also other weird skills err dunno. the blademaster is the powerful warrior whereas the panda is some mysterious weird guy(such ppl often appear in chinese kung fu novels) |

I like the illustration, even if there are some holes in your theory, but I think the BM's chin is way too pointy. |

that orc looks like a buff night elf that needs braces (orcs have more of a flat nose and big jaw, night elves have the pointy chins and stuff).... but besides that, cool pic :D |

ye i tried to make the orc look a bit young and not as buff as most orcs... kind of a more agile 'panda way' orc :D but thnx for clearing out the holes for me, in my theory, but, as i said, these first orcs must have learned it a long time ago, before they joined the burning blade i guess. after that they made it the panda techniques their own and they changed over time, taking on a much more violent orcish style :ggani: well heres WIP no.2: the improved lineart |

Or maybe after the Battle of Mt. Hyjal some Orcs didn't go to Orgrimmar and instead traveled to Pandaria where they learned to be SUPER blademasters!! Anyway, can't wait to see it colored.:D |

Nice idea... But it is kinda flawed and the orc doesn't look like an orc... looks like a girlish orc... and it has no boobs... wtf? you pronounce "ertwenpeller" the way it is spelled... er-twen-pell-er icbm1987 although "Erwinspropeller" sounds quite funny. |
