Walking Left, Right, Down, Up Triggers?

Does anybody know a trigger where you can hold a keyboard button to make your unit move, and release to stop movement?

E.G.
Holding down keyboard button "A" issues the unit to move directly 9 o clock or straight on left of the unit's current position and releasing keyboard button "A" would issue the unit to stop.

Misc. Information
1) There will be only one unit moving for the current player
2) The unit will have no attacks, but will have spells.

using the arrow keys you can detect a press/release, but other keys you can only detect a press if they have a spell with that key as a hotkey.

Look at the keybord evets with the arrow keys. They have Presses or Releases.

So you would need 2 triggers for each direction, 1 that loops and issues a unit to move to a point, which would be the units location with a offset in the direction you need. the 2nd trigger would stop the first and tell the unit to stop

This is a thread containing the triggers for arrow key movement. The movement is only forwards and backwards, but it shows you how to do it.
