Ok I made a symple model in 3ds max 5 and gave the base of it a brown colour. When exporting it as MDX I found it created a file with the model called white. I realisd it was the texture for my model. when importing both models I did not know what the file patch should be. I tried making the peasant look like my model but it did not work it just showed as a green and black box like it does in the editor. Is there a way to find the file path for the texture and model?. When editing the patch for the model to: Units\planet\planet.mdx and the texture to: Textures\planet\white.blp I ran the map and it showed a shadow, nothing more. Thank you Danosix |

The txturpath is always just the name of the texture with the ending.blp. When you want to change it you must do that with mdl editing. Perhas there is a other way but I do not know it. |

I've fixed it now but theres anothe problem when I try to add a texture in 3ds max i did everything on the tut for art tools but the texture just doesn't attach to the model. When I drag it to the model it just stays the same and when I click apply it doesn't either. Does anyone else have this problem and kno w how to get rid of it? |
