I'm try'n to get this mage to look good. I obviously got inspiration from Gandalf the White, but making a white robe and all is proving to be a difficult task. Do i need more shading? More contrast? what? I know it looks like weak work right now but thats why i'm posting. I'm also attempting to remove that piece of cloth (whatever it's called) from the back of his head. Yes, it needs more texturing/etc. Maybe some lining along his robe. Some nice little runes n such would help. Also at campaigincreations.org they have a pointy wizard hat MDL. That would help make him look even more Gandalf-ish. |

try to look at white fabric. go to yahoo and look up images on white robes. Always look 4 refrences. |

How about now. i got pics of sarumons cloths but it still needs alot of work. I dont plan on giving him a Pointy hat, always thought they looked dumb. But thanks anyways. But Egg, what am i suppose to do when i get the images? Care to explain please. |

The robe needs much more detail, and the mage has a "Please Shoot Me" face.. :hm: |

look at them look at them, look at the folds in the fabric and try to repicate them. |

Alright, so i'm try'n to get it as close as the images i got. I kicked the archmage model aside and started using the banditmage and this is what i got so far. Using the burn tool and making lines here and there to get the folds. Also putting designs(sould make them darker, you cant see them in this pic). Right and got rid of that dracula looking piece of clothing that you see behind his head. Am i heading in the right direction? I think i'm doing pretty darn good. :mtk: |
