Item Auto-Disappear

Hi everyone!

Is there any option to alter the time an item stays after being destroyed?
I'm asking because I was developing a custom model with a really huge death animation (~1100 frames) for use as an item. but when i tested it in warcraft3 the item was removed by the engine after a bunch of seconds after it was destroyed, although the animation was far from its end.
So, is there any way to alter this directly, or will i have to write a huge pile of script to make this work?

Thanks in advance.

In the "Art" section of the item options in the WE, look for an option that says something like "Death Animation Time" and set that to however many seconds it takes to run through the death ani. That option is definitely there, and when properly set should fix your problem.

the item is just a simple egg. the map i'm working for is filled up with funny easter eggs, so i asked myself: why not hide an easter egg inside of an egg?

so if you're now going to drop the item and destroy it, a little chicken comes out and walks around. that's all...
