i mean a menu inside of the game for difficulty, umm race, ummmm color of something i dont know. well im thinking about this and i think it would be realy relay good touch to a campaigns besides the normal blizzard main menu. and it would be easy to make the game set up the next map as the next map of whatever 4 campaigns. I think this is also possible to save see if u create a unit then save him as ## level u take the menu and covert taht into the number of stages completed. i just think this would be cool lol

ok what im thinking about is an menu inside of a map ok

1. u could easly set it up for multipul campaigns.

2. to save u could create a hero at a certain lv the lv representing whitch stages are complete then save it to that game catch thing

3. IT WOULD BE COOL

You see this is why god invented grammar and spelling:
So people can actually understand what you are saying.

I don't see why every person,on the internet, assumes they've the right to sadomize the english langauge, in any which oriface they please.

Anyway if I get this right: you want somebody to create a dialog that a user can call to save a hero during a campaign/map? Its very doable. But seems trivial, as in a campaign ussually loading the next map will automatically save the hero. I'm an avid fan of the dialog (you can see my dialog test 3.8 to see what I mean).
Or maybe you mean you save a hero in one campaign, and then load him in another? That wouldn't be very possible unless the other campaign happens to be built to have that unit type in its databank.

(I.e. Campaign A has unit: BadGuy (H000), Campaign B must have unit BadGuy as (H000) and the exact same stats or else you can not transfer badguy between these two campaign)

ok i will actualy take the time to put punctuation. I am saying y dont we have a menu inside of a map, in other words a menu FOR a map, the menu is the map. something cool that isnt the main menu of warcarft III. You would be able to keep track of the progress by saveing a unit (hero) at a sertain level. The level of the hero can detarmain the progress and its easy to set the next stage so it would be very easy. its just a way to make an easy menu with haveing only basic modeling skills. i mean how hard is it model a button and skin it comeon.

I guess I'm missing the point but I fail to see why you would want this...

He doesn't mean using dialogs, but instead use units/items, replace models and make a menu with those. Don't see why you would want this tho, since you can replace the dialogs grafics...

well i think that the layout of the main warcraft menu is gay and i dont want it like that so this way u could have your own style instead of the anouying bar alwasy at the side
