High Elf Mage-Thingy

heres a skin i'm doing for WoZ, based off Samwize's work

(i used an idea from ToB fourms and made it into a .gif, to save space ^_^)

and its in wc3 viewer so it looks a little weird.

Let's see... you changes the cloak to dull purple, blurred his armour and gave him blue/brown trousers?

What is it supposed to be? And what should we comment on?

Everything you changed needs better detail, as it's just all blurry and hard to make out.

Weird, my skins aren't blurry in the viewer. They are blurry if the skin is blurry. How very strange that the viewer removes all your detail.

whats it with everyone saying "detail it" all the time?

i know it needs detail, i need to know how to fix it, just saying it needs it, doesn't help.

Look at your skin. Look at the reference pic. Surely you can see that yours is blurry colour, whereas the reference pic has clearly defined areas of texture.

i know it sucks, i'm redoing it, thanks for saving me from killing myself over the skin, and trying to make it better.

and everything in photoshop seems to bright,but shows up different when i post it is there a way to fix this?

edit: any advice on what to do for the area thats team color? and where should i place the color for it too look good?

cool picture of the war mage. For the skin it looks ok. I would alpha the boots in the part where the get pointy and make it into a V like the picture. then color it all leather.
