That doesn't look like Minas Tirith at all... Like, not even close. The closest it gets is "its a city" and theres "people and buildings". But that's about it, man. Maybe you should give up on 'Minas Tirith' and just make something up, like: The Siege of Mordagor, The last citadel of Men. And make it "dark elves" versus "Men". Good luck -jd |

Well I suggest doing one of two things. Starting all over again and try HARDER to make it look more like Minas Tirith. Or what the the previous guy said, make something out of it. You should really get a picture of what minas tirith looks like....there are pics all over the web, if I were you I would look for some and retry. |

dude dont be harsh on yourself, it does look cool, it just doesnt resemble minas tirith. Ditch the LOTR concept and make something your own out of it. |

Just rename your map like "The Rebellion" or something and give it whole whole new story line. No one will ever notice you tried to make a LOTR map |

dont be such tight***'es guys, at least he tried. He's the one making this map while you all sit on your lazy....backsides....and tell him he's crap. Maybe you could help him out, give constructive feedback. Tell him where he went wrong, or AT LEAST make your own Minas Tirith and we'll see if it's any better. Don't forget to think of your own skills and the effort he would have needed to make that before you start bashing his work. Oh yeah, and if you're gonna scrap that map, can I have it please? [email protected] . If you dont want it, I might be able to make something of it. I would suggest that you keep it though, maybe make it into one of the other LoTR towns. Or join the LoTR Campaign team that I'm on. Send an AIM to HippyJoe2004, or illegal limit390. We'll give you a link to our forums and maybe you're skills can be used. Anyway, I thought it was a pretty good attempt, and thats my 2¢. oh and yeah while im at it, another thing. How do you guys know that Minas Tirith wasn't intended to look like that? I mean, J.R.R Tolkien isn't exactly alive now to tell us that he intended it to look different. Just because the movie shows it that way, that is the best impression of the director. And if Tolkien WAS alive to tell us that, I doubt he would speak to any of you guys to confirm. Come on, ban me for flaming, I dare ya...I don't care, I've done the right thing, I've given constructive feedback. |
