As a little kid I remember having a chalk board on the refrigerator that I was always drawing on. Sort of stick people with three fingers riding air planes and stuff. I sucked, but my family encouraged me and I kept drawing and now I'm the god I am today.

when I was 3 to 4 years old I drew transformers on the walls in the house, always got scolding from my grandparents. GIMME A BREAK!! I was only 4!!
then when I went to school I drew houses with sunny gardens LOL and then I proceeded to draw woodpeckers pecking on trees (htf do I remember these?) my retarded art teacher said my trees look like crap when in actual fact mine is the only one in the class that doesn't look like crap. the other students drew trees that didn't look anything like trees whereas mine had branches and all that. But the teacher said my trees looked like monsters because of the branches, what a stupid bitch.
Then after that I basically drew cars, guns, planes, stuff like that for a few years.
when I was 10 I drew a lot of birds because I like birds. I drew lots and lots.
when I was 15 I started drawing fantasy stuff like dragons...they are cool.
then when I was 16 I tried drawing humans, I sucked but still I was better than most people cuz I am teh smart. I drew angels cuz they have wings and I roxor at drawing them cuz i drew lots of birds lolz.
then when I was 17 to 18 my skills at drawing humans improved a bit and I am still drawing them

Oooh i started drawing on the floor with crayons and the nit moved to desks and paper. I drew mainly goblins and skeletons. yes i played games like wc and wichhaven dont know the name of the first game i played but owell, when i was young about 3 or 4. anyway I used crayon till my older brother introduced the pencil to me and then he kinda tought me how to draw (hes left handed and now i do most everything backwards cus im right handed its odd but owell). And thats how i started.

I never ever drew stick men till i was 14.

i started drawin when i was a wee kid because i saw my older brother drawing demons and fantasy stuff like that a lot, and he sorta taught me.... so i really drew orcs and demons from like whenever i started (probably like... 8 years old...) till now! :D ...except now i draw more and more humans and less monsters... especially more girls... girls pretty much make up most of my thoughts now....:gsmile:

well... to be honest.... i started drawing circles. this is a story my mom used to tell me a lot and we got pictures and all to prove it. you know how most children start out by just moving the pencil across the paper making jagget lines that just dont look like anything? i didnt.
first time my mom gave me a pencil (i was barely able to walk.. i walked late) i just started to draw circles. after 4 sheets of paper filled withy balls, i sstill wasnt able to connect the first part to the end of the line, i got really mad and i stated crying and stuff... becouse i couldnt draw a perfect circle...

i pretty much started out with stupid things like batman and the teenage mutant ninja turtles... untill dragonball came along. thats when i really started to draw like a madman, i have so many dbz drawings.. its incredible. that slowely started to change to 'normal' anime/manga style, and then came warcraft...

...

wc rocked my world, and i started to draw fantasy!

I've been drawing all my life. Every since I was a little kid and picked up a drawing tool (pencil, chalk, pastels, markers) - I've been making art. My mom told me that I once drew a rose that was very good when I was barely walking - I guess since I didn't really think much I wasn't clouded with design concepts and such. Now, I think way too much!

In my early days, my drawings were real simple and uncomplicated, and no people. After seeing Doom and Command and Conquer I really got into art - since I wanted to make computer games. My designs became more complex and expressive. Around Middle School is when I really got good at people - by Highschool I was drawin' 5-30 objects a day and I started my first skin (How I love Unreal Tournament!) Now though I have slowed my pace down - always busy now, but I still draw often.

i inherited a lot of my talent from my parents and my great-grandmother, but i also have been drawing my whole life. i started w/ spider man and all those comic characters, and kinda started to delve into fantasy art after i discovered the joy of final fantasy;) . namely the art books. i just recently learned to paint and have been working w/ photoshop for going on three years.

I started when I was really little, my dad paints and is a very good one at that, and I used to remeber going in his studio and stuff, and since then (when I was like 3-4) I've been drawing, lately I haven't been drawing as much.

I cannot really say I started drawing, cause it is something I do to pass time. No different than babies drawing stuff with crayons. It was more about the act of drawing, rather than presentation.

I was always fond of drawing like so many kids. But I think when I was fourteen that I really cared about quality. THe time I drew the most was when I was in highschool. I was in a boring boarding school so there was not much to do... (no phones, no computer, no TV, no car...) So I really spent most of my time drawing. I think I improved the most during those years. Then I stopped for a while right after I got into college. I started drawing again with the current comics.

The entire process of inking and coloring started not so long ago. I did not know how to color, nor how to ink. When I drew it was mostly pencil sketch. So I would have to say I started drawing about 5 years ago, stopped for 2 years, and started again.(not counting child's play)

This topic made me look into old pictures I did. Good heavens, they suck. It is embarassing. Boobs are too big, weist is too small...

I guess its my turn - . -

Well i started in 1st grade with tracing megaman from those EGM magazines. Then moved on to comic book characters. ALOT of wolverine drawings. 5th grade got into anime like DBZ, Akira, Appleseed
etc.. etc.. I drew naked anime girls and sold it to people at my school for 50 cents each ^0^.
Highschool I stopped drawing and got into graffiti. Joined a Graffiti crew and thats where I first got intrduced to color and design. I stop doin graff after getting arrested one too many times. Now a freshmen at college i do digital art to kill time =)~.

O yah cant forget FF7. Damn those Japs where do they get all those crazy ideas - . -.
